The Digital Stew

Documenting the digital world one link at a time

Rec You

This has to be one of the coolest new uses of technology i have seen in the last few weeks. This website allows you to upload your own photo and turns your image into an animated head that bobs to the music and sings the lyrics to a song. I remember in last class we [...]

Google Phone

I think I mentioned this before, but I really like Google. Word on the street is that google is releasing a phone. I’m not usually the first one to buy something but if this is true, you will see me rocking this phone(even if it is white).

Extreme Crew

Alright so what does this site have to do with our class…Not too much, i just really love breakdancing. I grew up breakdancing and writing graffiti so i always get a kick out of seeing people spin on their head. The site however does feature some pretty decent papervision.

Nike Sweetspots

Seems like everything nike does always looks slick and current. They never look like they are out of date visually. However conceptually i really feel like they have fallen to the wayside. I haven’t seen anything in the last year since last years Cannes winning http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/. Some of the new things i have been [...]

Style Wars

This site was sent to us by Daniel from Jimmy’s class, fellow fan of the graffiti culture. He asked me to send this site around. This site i am particularly a very big fan of because i know every line of this movie by heart. I cant look at the site and not get taken [...]

About

A stew is a dish that is compiled of a bunch of different ingredients. Something that is slowly prepared with lots spices and stirring. This blog represents the stew of digital tidbits that live inside our heads. Its a place to document the things that call our attention as consumers, and something to inspire our students in our class at Miami Ad School. Hope you brought a big spoon.
